Listened to America's Sweetheart

Ever since Courtney Love had fake breasts, everything about her was fake. Nothing has been good. It wasn't so bad the first time around. The sound was oh so polished. Weirdly though, Eric Erlandson didn't work with her on this recording but opted instead to work with Melissa Auf der Maur, helping out with the production. Oh well. But it was better than Celebrity Skin, me thinks. I just need to hunt down Ms. Kat Bjelland's new recording. I watched the anime version of the Crying Freeman. Saw the live action version with Mark Dacascos ages ago. It was a very well made flick. It had shades of La Femme Nikita. But, the manga pre-dated the french flick by at least three years.

Crying Freeman Anyway, it's a Saturday night and I'm here working. While everyone is having fun I'm here. Why? Why? Why? I also watched Cinema Paradiso. Now, I'll rank it as one of my most fave flicks. Not because I really liked it, but... but... I saw MS. JOAN CRAWFORD. Not once, not twice, but thrice!!! Call me mababaw, but since I'm not having a regular dose of Ms. Joan Crawford it was a blast seeing her luminous face onscreen. On to other matters, I know I have seen Dario Argento's movie Cat O'Nine Tails in Quiapo (VCD format for 35p) but from what I've read it wasn't so good. So, when I decided to get it on Friday (yeah, a spur of the moment buy) I couldn't find it anywhere. I mean I've been to, what, seven stores? And no one else is carrying it. Fuck. I really hate it (I just decided to get it when I felt like I was having a Dario Argento shortage... Inferno and Sleepless are with some friends...). I hope when we get to Quiapo on the 13th, I get to see and buy that. Arrgh...

I need to watch these DVDs:

Dario Argento's Cat O' Nine TailsMario Bava's Baron BloodKei Fujiwara's Organ

My life would be complete afterwards. I think.
