RAPE MOVIES WHICH YOU MAY WANT TO IGNORE
I dunno, but I know rape is a very reprehensible act. It is a violation, it is not something nice. In fact, I think next to child molestation it is a crime deserving of death. But when I watched Irreversible, I still thought of rape as a very nasty offense. But I guess every movie has a message. Even if treated exploitatively these messages need to be relayed. I know, you may want to ignore this post but at least hear these directors out.
IRREVERSIBLE and I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE
LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT and SCRAPBOOK
THE STENDHAL SYNDROME
I'm also waiting for my Region 1 DVD of Mario Bava's Schock which my e-mail friendship will supposedly send me this week. I hope. I haven't seen a single Bava flick yet.
