A Change Is In the Air...
Well, I may have to retract my application for the Multi-lingual position since it will require me to go Libis EVERY DAY. Just imagine... Anyway, new job and new people. Life is good.
The five movies that I got from the film pirates arrived this afternoon. I watched Dario Argento's Sleepless (Non Ho Sonno). People were buzzing about the first twenty minutes of this movie. They weren't wrong. It was the most tense first 20 minutes I have ever seen in my entire filmwatching life.
Paul Wegener's der Golem (a really old movie) and Dario Argento's Sleepless
Twitch of the Death Nerve (The inspiration for Friday the 13th, this movie's death scenes were copied frame by frame) and Takashi Miike's Full Metal Yakuza
Pier Paolo Pasolini's Salo
Lastly, Christopher Nolan's Memento
Now, I hope to see any Mario Bava movie in Quiapo or Makati Cinema Square.
Schock (Daria Nicolodi was in this movie. Daria is Asia Argento's mother)
And then lastly, Bava's Kill, Baby Kill...
