DVD fatigue
Seems like it's caught up with me at last. Same as my Friendster fatigue, which started last December and settled early last month. Right now I don't feel the need to keep up with the rest of the world or accumulate things.
I was looking through your fave pirate's list of about 300 titles and nothing really appealed to me. Strange, eh? He has your beloved Fulci and Argento, though. I mean, he has Mathieu Kassovitz's The Crimson Rivers, but I can live without it. Maybe in the future I'd love to get my hands on this French Renaissance man's Metisse, which we saw at the French film fest before, and La Haine.
Thanks for offering to return the ill-fated Punch Drunk Love. ;) See you tomorrow at 7-11! And no prob about the favor, it's the least I could do. Sorry about your dad getting Alzheimer's. I hope they get good doctors. Speaking of rents, I love my rents right now. And my job is starting to suck again. My work station and media
center would be transferred to another spot on the 7th floor again next week. All these renovations and transfers kinda disguise that nothing's really changing, nothing's happening. It's the same rotten picture.
Dividers being put up between work stations, the walkways getting narrower. It occurred to me before that we're like lab mice in a maze, if you look at it from an omnipresent view. That's one of my story ideas right now, for a short story called "Under Renovation". Yeah, am in that kind of mood today. Liz Phair's in my CD player right now. "Send it up on fire/ Death before dawn..."
