in camotes island, cebu, they have superfine white sand and gin-clear waves. joel, you're from cebu, you should go there! it's pretty inaccessible, though. from mandaue city, cebu we took a three-hour banca ride to camotes island. the accommodations are kinda pricey and the island's huge, but they don't have a decent public transport system. fak. mag-puerto galera na lang tayo. ;) (camotes island, cebu, feb. 2006)
