Re: Renaissance man
n.
A man who has broad intellectual interests and is accomplished in areas of both the arts and the sciences.

Not a renaissance man. Spare me. The operative word is "accomplished." And Kassovitz is hardly accomplished. I've seen, what, three movies? And two are really bad, and one is passable. Maski na rumaraket, there should be no excuses. I mean, ni hindi nga siya watchable in a traditional genre sense eh. Isn't it ironic that the only good movie I remembered that he was in wasn't even his movie (meaning, he didn't even direct it).

And having a single good movie (Assassin(s)) doesn't make one a "Renaissance Man." Pwede pa siguro si Hitchcock.

Heniweys, napanood ko na ang Make It Big. Isang Korean caper movie. Maganda, nakakatawa. Hindi corny. Although teeny bopper ang mga taartits. Effective acting, and humor usually gets me. Maski na inane na ang mga situations.
