We're not going on a Katfight, now are we?

Ms.Crawford? A gay icon? You gotta be kidding me. As I have already said, the words may be hers but the music isn't. Yes, yes, I was for a time a Courtney Love (Anover...ching! Baka magalit ka na naman) Zombie. Kaya lang when it all boils down to craftsmanship, I don't see anything. If you think Kat's a blank sheet of paper, when it comes to instrument playing Courtney's a cipher (so, in a way we share the same opinion on different people). About the themes/lyrics in a Babes in Toyland song may strike you as amateurish, and immature, I sometimes think of the songs that way too. But, Kat has never made any pretense regarding her songwriting ability (though her new band Katastrophy Wife is making it big in the UK punk scene). But, her guitar playing is somewhat phenomenal as compared to others (I wrote down somewhat, because frankly, I have not listened to a lot of rock bands so I don't know who to compare her with). Furthermore, a lot of people WILL remember Kat Bjelland as the person who kicked Courtney out of two bands because of her nonexistent guitar playing skills (hey, it's true). In any case, Kat hasn't made out herself to be sensational so there's no point in arguing about that (and that's where her cult following comes in...They may not be a lot, but it will assure her immortality, well, let's just look at the case of Lucio Fulci). (I keep bringing up her name, because I know that will annoy you...ahmm...ching!)

For Ms. Crawford as a gay icon, even if she were one (well, you said she is one) what I do know is she never set out to be one, ganun naman talaga eh (but, I can't say the same thing about Bankhead though...She loved the company of gay men...eek!). (Pakyung kyu, can't check Fangoria tuloy...poke!). Hoy, hindi ako galit ha. Baka di mo ako pansinin this Friday. ;p

Kakatamad na talaga sa opisina. Hay, buti ka pa may bakasyon.

So, see you this Friday (sana di ko makatulugan...baka malate lang nang onti kasi nga dava me tinatapos akez?)!

(An aside: Bongga talaga ang mga kwento ni Ms. Lopez!)

Pero: JOAN CRAWFORD HAS RISEN FROM THE GRAVE!
