Happy weekend!

Posted earlier today in the Elephant site and am dead set to leave on time today (after 3 days of back-breaking, mind-numbing, migraine-inducing, eye-straining OT).

Note to Joel: Try posting with smaller pics cos they load easily. And try to fit/incorporate the pics with the text, and make the pics you post here link to other websites. You can check my posts with that edit button and compare, then do your own. And as a precaution, before posting, copy-paste (in Notepad/Word) what you typed here just to be sure, in case your computer hangs up and loses all the HTML tags you typed. Kaya mo yan!

Saw this in the January 12 news from Spin:

Elliott Smith's coroner's report has been posted online... raising questions on the cause of the singer/songwriter's death. According to the document issued by the LAPD, "While [Smith's] history of depression is compatible with suicide, and the location and direction of the stab wounds are consistent with self-inflection, several aspects of the circumstances (as are known at this time) are atypical of suicide and raise the possibility of homicide."

These include possible defensive wounds on Smith's hands, the removal of the knife that killed him, and the fact that the singer was stabbed through clothing. At the time of his presumed suicide, Smith and live-in girlfriend Jennifer Chiba were having an argument that ended with Chiba locking herself in the bathroom. According to Chiba, she then heard a scream, and came out of the bathroom to find Smith with a knife sticking out of his chest. Chiba removed the knife and dialed 911. She later found a post-it note in Smith's handwriting that read "I'm so sorry -- love, Elliott. God Forgive Me."
Yikes. Dunno what to believe anymore. But it'd be terrible if Elliott had been killed. Anyway, below are the 7 films from your list that I wanna see. Thanks!

1. 28 Days Later
2. A Clockwork Orange
3. Equilibrium (Futuristic Christian Bale!)
4. The Hulk (Cos I missed it)
5. Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (ibid., and I liked Mallrats and Chasing Amy)
6. Resident Evil (Astig daw, sabi nila)
7. The Shadow of the Vampire (Saw bits of it in cable before; didn't see all of it)

BTW, don't our links at the left look much better now? :)
