And another Writers' Night is here...
Oi Joel! Bawal ang tahimik at inaantok sa blog na 'to! Bawal ang hindi bumibili sa book sale ng iba. Bawal din mag-suggest ng pangit na match sa Friendster! ;)
Hey, pwede bang sabay na lang tayo papuntang UP tomorrow evening for Writers' Night? Cos I'll be coming from work and might get there around 8pm too. I can't bear the thought again of walking all the way to Executive House. Trudging, trudging... past UP Press, past that middle-of-nowhere police station. Maybe we can just meet somewhere near UP and cab it?
And hold off on the liquor, okay? Or face the consequences! (Getting ignored by your own friends, passing out, throwing up, you get the picture...)
I wonder if Marcia's read this blog yet. Hello Marcia, ex-DJ (sayang! Hindi ka muna naghintay na sumikat), where are you? Where's that email you owe me?
I watched this old CSI (Vegas ha, not Miami; the two are lightyears apart) episode where the older redhead female in the team, Cathy, was saying that a person usually looks to the left (not at the person they're talking to) when they're creating, and to the right when they're remembering. (This is how they caught a suspect who murdered her own daughter in a theme park ride.)
And I discovered today it's totally true! I texted a fib to my boss to get the morning off. I said I'd just report for work in the afternoon. My excuse? Let's just say I caused my sister to suddenly develop symptoms of diabetes, which required some bloodwork done at this diagnostic clinic near East Ave., and that I had to accompany her there. And I was looking to the left when my boss asked me about it when I got to the office today.
I don't even think I'm a really good liar. I just have soul fatigue and needed a few extra hours' sleep...
